As part of the inaugural ceremony, two ambulances were flagged off to provide free emergency transportation for people injured in road accidents. This initiative was launched to ensure that every accident victim receives timely medical assistance and a better chance of survival.
Following its formation, the Rural Superintendent of Police (SP) issued wireless instructions to all rural police stations to cooperate with Highway Suraksha Jagratha Samithi, ensuring strong coordination and a faster response during emergencies.
The inaugural program was presided over by Kodungallur Police Inspector Biju Kumar, who also serves as the Honorary Chairman of Highway Suraksha Jagratha Samithi.
